Posting Calls for Papers
The best way to increase the number of good panel submissions is to send out a Call for Papers (CFP) describing the panel topic.
Area and Panel Chairs may wish to post a Call For Papers notice to the H-Net listserv site, an international source of information for scholars. For H-Net information, scroll down the left menu column of this page and click on H-PCAACA Discussion List. Information about H-Net appears, along with a link for posting announcements.
Another good site on which to list CFP’s is the UPenn English listserv at http://cfp.english.upenn.edu/cfp.html
Regardless of where your Areas’ CFP’s are posted, please post them early.
We recommend including the following information:
- PCA/ACA 2008 National Conference, San Francisco Marriott, San Francisco, California

- Submission requirements:
- abstract only (recommended) or full paper;
- number of words required for either (usually 100 – 250 words for abstract).
- whether electronic submissions are accepted
