Exhibitor's Information

The Popular Culture Association & American Culture Association and SouthWest/Texas Popular & American Culture Association invite your company to exhibit at our National Conference and to advertise in the Program. Our 2011 Conference will be held at the San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter & Riverwalk Hotels, 101 Bowie Street , San Antonio,TX 78205 , on Wednesday, April 20 through Saturday, April 23. (Maps of Hotel Spaces)

The PCA/ACA has held annual national meetings for over 30 years at major cities throughout the U.S. and Canada. The conference generally attracts 2500 registered attendees (each receiving a copy of the Program). We have sent a special invitation to this conference to the faculty of over 200 colleges and universities in the Midwest, a number located in and around St. Louis, so we should have many drop ins, besides those who pre-register.

Subject Areas are many and our conference attendees are scholars, teachers, professionals, and enthusiasts, representing a variety of fields in cultural studies: education, business, entertainment, fashion, gender, ethnography, technology, popular science, history, fiction and non-fiction writing, philosophy and many more. Our website lists all the Areas we include at http://www.pcaaca.org/areas/areas.php.

Exhibits will be located in the Marriott Rivercenter Salon E on the second floor, an attractive space. Maps are available at the Marriott’s website as well as on the National Conference page of the PCA/ACA website (URL below). Exhibitors that plan to come will receive a floor plan layout with table locations, along with information about services from Freeman. If you have your own display accessories, you are certainly welcome to use your own. If you have questions, please contact me at rausche5@msu.edu.

An interactive exhibit registration form is attached to this email. Admission to the conference is free to our exhibitors. We ask to receive the names of those helping with the display in advance of the conference date so that we can have nametags already printed for them.
