H-PCAACA Discussion List

Formatting and Submitting Your Panels

We have a database in which Area Chairs should place their Panels and Panelists and other special activities. Please use the database

https://pcaaca.mycoredb.net/login

For those who cannot use the database for physical reasons, below is the format in which to submit your Panels.

Please type your panel listing into a word processing document or use Rich Text Format..
No tables, no color, no cells, please--just text.
Each panel has only four presenters. It is customary for the chair of the panel to present last.
Send the name and email address of each panelist along with the panel entry.
Email the document to me as an attachment (rausche5@msu.edu).

Panel entries should be composed like this (copy and pasted from the abstract information, if possible, in order to reduce spelling errors).:

a) Area and panel title

b) Panel chair’s name, affiliation

c) Panelists' names (better double-check the spelling) and affiliation.

Sample Panel:

American Art and Architecture I: Nineteenth- and Twentieth-Century American Art
Chair:  Marlene Hoover, San Antonio College

Wondrous and Strange: The Enigmatic World of Jamie Wyeth
Sharon Lorenzo, Boston University

Henry David Thoreau and America in the 1950s
Mark Sullivan, Villanova University

Ridley Scott's Gladiator and the Society of the Spectacle
Shaw Smith, Davidson College

Art Notes in The Ladies Repository
Marlene Hoover
