Sessions are scheduled in 1½ hour slots, with four papers or speakers each. You may propose an individual paper; a thematic session with four speakers; or a roundtable.

Proposals may be related to fresh-water or sea-water topics like

  • Literature, comics, art, music, television & movies
  • History, politics, war & peace
  • Culture, anthropology & ecology
  • Folklore, mythology, legends & hoaxes
  • Ships, boats, & other water craft
  • Aquatic life
  • Recreation, travel, tourism & festival

DEADLINE for Paper Proposals: October 1, 2017

Submit your 100-300 word proposal (abstract) online at https://conference.pcaaca.org/help/conference/submitting-proposals-conference.

You may present only one paper at the conference. You may not submit the same paper to multiple areas.
