As a PCA/ACA conference area, Latin American Literature, Film, & Culture intends to become a forum that creatively explores perspectives as well as connections between all forms of cultural expressions in the region, including, but not limited to, the arts, film, literature, music, popular religious manifestations, social movements, travel, and TV, among others.
Presenters are encouraged to employ a variety of disciplinary approaches that examine production, history, identities, representations, reception, and consumption, particularly as streaming services and other platforms (podcasts and social media) increase the interest, presence and popularity of Latin American cultural manifestations.
