Join academics and professionals in Boston 2021 to explore various US regional cultures and literatures (this area has been created to merge New England Studies, Appalachian Studies, and Midwestern Studies, but has been expanded to include any US geographical region).
Topics of interest include:

- Tourism, Culture, and Environment
- Sports
- Literature and Popular Fiction
- Art, Photography, and Music
- History and Economy
- Film, Television, and other Media
- Politics of Culture
- Class, Gender, Race, Ethnicity
We are considering proposals for sessions organized around a theme, special panels, and/or individual papers. Sessions are scheduled in 1½ hour slots, typically with four papers or speakers per standard session. Presentations should not exceed 15 minutes. Working professionals, scholars, educators, and graduate students are all encouraged to submit.
Interested individuals are asked to submit an abstract of no more than 250 words (including presentation title) and complete contact information (name, institutional affiliation, mail and e-mail addresses, and contact telephone number) to http://pcaaca.org.
Panel proposals of 4 speakers and/or discussion panels of 4 participants each are also encouraged.
