PCA Mentor Program

Due to popular demand, we are re-instituting the mentoring program at the PCA conference this year.  Even with the program being virtual, there are still many folx interested in learning more about the organization and other professional considerations (e.g. teaching, publishing, etc).  However, for it to be effective, we need people to get involved both as mentors and mentees.

To get involved, we ask you to take a few minutes to complete one of the following short (less than 10 question) surveys.   Please know that no data will be saved; after this year’s conference, all survey results will be deleted.  If you are uncomfortable with/cannot access the survey link but still wish to be involved, please email Edward Janak at edward.janak@utoledo.edu or Ludovic Sourdot at LSourdot@twu.edu.

To become a mentor, we ask that you meet any of the following criteria

  • Be a “frequent flier” in PCA (attending at least five national conferences)
  • Be involved in PCA at the national or regional level (i.e. area chair, board member, journal editor, conference organizer, experienced session chair).

To receive mentoring, we ask you be either/both of the following

  • First-time presenter at the national PCA
  • A graduate student.
