| Heather M. Porter, M.S. – Ms. Porter is an accomplished reality television line producer and coordinating producer. A member of the Producers Guild and the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, she has worked on numerous shows including six seasons of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Porter has presented at all nine Slayage Conferences. Her research focuses on quantitative analyses of images of violence, intelligence, sex and female representation in the science fiction and fantasy genres. She was a co-editor of the book Joss Whedon's Dollhouse: Confounding Purpose, Confusing Identity and her most recently co-edited the book Re-Entering the Dollhouse: Essays on the Joss Whedon Series with Michael Starr. |
