Call For Papers

 

For the area of Aging and Senior Culture, PCA 2026 please consider your research
proposal on the following list topics/themes. And feel free to combine them or come
with your own topics/themes.


  • Aging in the eyes of the public, its effects, impacts, and significance
  • Aging with the technology, especially the technology of communication and
    transportation
  • Aging with changing health status: redefining illness and living with it
  • Characterization of senior culture in media, including its historical review, trends,
    and stereotypes
  • Golden musicians/bands, golden audience, and beyond
  • Golden time and relationships: changes (or not) in dating, love, commitment, etc.

 

Submission requirements

 

Both abstract of proposal and full paper are accepted. Abstract typically needs to be between 150 words and 300 words. Full paper is no more than twenty-page in length. All levels of students submission are welcome. Both Membership and conference registration are required for presentation.

  • Late Registration Starts for Presenters - Feb. 1, 2026
  • Preliminary Program draft available - Feb. 6, 2026

 

Those Presenters Not Registered by Feb. 15 Will be Dropped from the Program
