The Shakespeare on Film and Television area explores Shakespeare in a variety of media beyond the traditional stage, including film, television, anime, magna, and recent novelizations of the plays. We have previously had papers on the following topics and invite new ideas all the time.

* Slings and Arrows, Shakespeare on Canadian Television
* Transgressive Shakespeare
* Shakespeare and Sexuality
* Shakespeare for the Classroom

 

Join us for the PCA 2026 Conference, April 8-11 at the Atlanta Marriott Marquis—the week after Easter.  Connect with colleagues for engaging panels, lively discussions, and networking opportunities in the heart of  downtown Atlanta.
